The only way to retain touchscreen after the NBT upgrade would be to additionally replace the OEM Nav screen with an OEM Navi Screen from 2016+ production M6's. They are bezel-less, have a much cleaner look, fully touchscreen and are specific to the M6, as they differ slightly in shape and connection from the F10 M5's.

I dont think M6 ever supported a touch screen. Even the 2019 which was the last year of production, everything was done through the idrive knob.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyone here driving a M6 have a touch screen???
