Both were fairly closely specced. I just found it odd as the comfort seat upgrade was not an excessively costly option and seemed bizarre to leave out to me.
VDC is nice though. Just watch the surround view cameras as they can bugger up (usually the cable fails and it is an arse to replace).

I just picked up the Carbon black one, on the forecourt for £42,995, but got it for £39k..
The surround view is already malfunctioning I think...flickering and the rear colour contrast is different to the sides.
The seats are ok, slight shame to not have the full comfort seats, I agree, but the overall spec of the car is pretty nice.
