I think it could be the angle cut or the double side wall tips. At first, I was trying to have the 4” tips installed but I was told by muffler guy that my tips have to stick far out more to accommodate the space between the Y pipe part and the diffuser. I think overall the 3.5” looks great, not small nor too big.
