LCI mirrors are going to set you back more than the expensive covers. I've looked at the LCI mirrors as a retrofit. Looks pretty much a straight away with an extra 3 pin connector for the turn signals.
The challenge is getting the right direction mirrors, mine have cameras in and if I'm going through the hassle I may as well try and find a set with blind spot assist as a later retrofit and yet another button to go below the lights. I keep looking at eBay but finding a pair of LCI mirrors of the spec I want is a waiting game.
