M cars and the M6 specially do not have Run-Flat-Tyres , mainly a get-you-home option of compressed foam in a can. The M6 Cabrio has that typical cabrio space enhancer which Mercedes also offers.
BMW will not go back to spare tyres and you will find that other manufacturers in their quest to match the competition weight for weight will also begin to ditch spare tyres.
