I wouldn’t change from 265s... 2 problems when going wider: less agile and precise turn-in/handling; and exposing the side skirts to even more stones/debris from front wheels (wider tyre has the same effect as spacers).
The latter in particular is a bit of a challenge with M6, what are you guys doing to protect the skirts and side panels/front doors? I’ve considered clear film in the skirts, and perhaps ceramic coating is more resistant than wax/sealant only? I observed this in my F13, and the new F06 shows signs of this after less than 3k miles (no marks visible yet)...
