Technically now both cars are "M" cars according to BMW and the rest of the world. Thankfully there is no M650i.
Also the 8 series as a whole right now is just a massive gimmick. the cars don't sell well, its all about SUPER SUV and SAVs. Where is the X7M! It will have the same performance as the M8 but seat 7 people too!. probably even have a X7M convertible in the future too!
