The Alexander Hamilton Service Area (NJ Turnpike South, mile marker 111). The Delaware Welcome Center is also good. It was redone some years ago but has a snack bar, coffee, gas station.
I haven't had any issues at the DWS. It was open for business. Folks kept a bit of distance. Rest rooms were being cleaned regularly. It wasn't a long queue to get in but there was a queue for coffee.
