I try to never turn the knob because it really bugs me it when the little straight line on it isn’t exactly vertical. OCD much? Lol. There must be others like me as well, because I noticed in a 2019 loaner that the power indicator symbol no longer rotates! They have redesigned it with a rotating ring around it. Jealous!
