With these expensive cars that are leased, people tend to want to check every option box available.
On the build pages, the 443 is the default wheel for the M6, the 601 is the default for the ZCP check box. But as you build, you're allowed to check 343s at 2 pages, the wheels page (page 2) and on the packages page after you check ZCP. People see it as a no cost option on the screen, so it's easy to assume it's an "upgrade".
So many people did it that 443 and 601 are actually more rare, even as the default wheel.
