i came from the 340i gt to the 630i gt and to be fair its 80 bhp down it holds its own, i found around town the 340 got as stated above and i found myself less and less having the opportunity of getting the most out of the 6 pot doing mainly town driving, on the motorway it was very smooth but again with the old plod being everywhere and the fines expensive i was always sat with cruise control set to 72, i sat in the 6 gt and was blown away with the difference in cabin style and settled on the 630i as a great compromise and really dont notice the power difference
