You had mentioned possibly targeting buyers as well. How would financing impact a buyer for a non-traditional home? I presume that banks may not see these as great collateral?

I think it could be a spectacular alternative to stick homes. Decent finishes are what, about $160/ft for a traditional stick built home? You’re coming in at 25% the cost on a home that effectively doesn’t need maintenance comparatively.

I ask as a person that is considering land to build a home on. Would like to buy the land outright and finance the build. We’ve even talked of a steel home that would otherwise be intended as a large barn, but finish the interior as a large, open living space with studs to make a floor plan of any desire. You’ve got my gears turning on a really cool container home at a fraction of the cost.
