I had the Pirelli P Zero on mine when I got it and just replaced the rears with 295 Michellin PS4s and the difference is night and day. Previously I would be lucky not to get wheelspin in 1st, 2nd and 3rd even on a hot day whereas now I can pretty much get all the power down even when its 4C outside (although it need to be pretty dry).

I spoke to the tyre fitter about going up to 305 and he advised against it unless I was increasing the actual wheel width. I trust his experience as he does all the laser alignment for the local tuning shops, all the main dealers and I've been using him for years including setting up my S2000 track car.
