I will probably not ever consider AWD, just not a fan, regardless of how good the systems are getting. No mountain passes, steep grades or crazy lake effect snow in my neck of the woods, so RWD with snow tires works just fine 99% of the time for me, but I understand it might not for someone else. Comes down to personal preference I think.
