My 14 650i grancoupe M sport just spent a month at the dealer. After $5k in service/parts we have no conclusion on the shake that happens between 60-80mph while accelerating in any drive mode
BMW’s conclusion is that it is a “characteristic of the car”
Pretty much horse shit in my opinion for a car with a sticker of 120K
“Heres your awesome car sir, and oh by the way a new feature is that the drive train shakes between 60 & 80”
Services performed by the dealer;
-Road force balance all wheels
-Replace wheels for trial
-Ignition coils
-Spark plugs
-Injectors
-Removed drive shaft and replaced Guibos
-Misfire test
-Smoke tested engine , replaced all turbo intake seals
The dealer definitely tried I must say its just annoying that BMW is saying that this is a characteristic of the car
