I take a picture of what I need, or of what I want to do and show the person working in that department of the store and they are usually able to help me.
I needed to change the drain piping under my kitchen sink this past Saturday from two drains to one drain. I took a picture of the piping under the sink and explained to the guy at Rona what I wanted to do. He gave me all the piping I needed plus more
I ended up with 2 extra pieces and about 6 extra feet of pipe
But I got the job done.
