Where I come from (Tennessee & majority of the south), those lifted trucks actually get used.
I live in S. FL now. Not a single truck or lifted jeep down here has seen a field or real trail to get used properly. Irks me to no end. Especially the ones with a lift kit and large wheels on skinny tires.
The other fad that bugs me now are the dually trucks w/the 18-wheeler wheels. Looks ridiculous, and serves no purpose. |
Trucks have become a luxury car now. Its so weird, a decade or two ago, I only saw pick up trucks as work vehicles, now you can get a Ram 1500 that feels like the S-Class of trucks. If anything the only things most people haul in their trucks now are groceries and air  |
Totally agree! The other thing I have started to notice is the squatting of trucks and SUVs.
: I guess we can call that a FAD as well! Annoying!
