I use my M6 GC on a daily basis - we're a 1 car family anyway. For me it has enough practicality and more than enough performance and stance to be the best of both worlds.
We've had our first snow here in the North East UK and I'm glad I purchased a winter wheel & tyre setup from my local dealer.
Currently the car's on a set 19" 403M wheels shod with Pirelli Sottozeros and it's coped fine with a couple of snow covered roads I've had to use. You just need to be gentle with the power pedal
