I agree - doesn’t look much like a rolled tip, but I was just quoting the manufacturer.
I have some rev videos I’ll post later - it’s 10° mixed with snow here so the drive by’s may take some time.

Yes, welding was the route I took. Took the muffler shop about 50 mins to do both.
