It happened to me once and unfortunately I was blocking the exit to a parking garage. Just terrible. It was my wife's birthday and we were headed out to meet friends for dinner. God Bless my wife, 24 years of 100% ride or die, stuck this out with me.
In the end though I let the tow operator lift the car by the rear wheels and he ended up F*$!ing some things up. It took about 6 months but via AAA I was able to collect some of the cost back.
