The 550i is tuned very differently to the 650iGC. However the M5 is tuned as a proper M Sports Car. If you read the article above, they say that from a feel perspective the M6GC felt more tuned towards luxury than sport in comparison with the M5.
This is the reason why after an F10 550i, I switched to an F10 M5 instead of an F06 650i.
However I am considering the F06 M6, not because it is sportier which it is not, but because it looks sportier.

But given the choice and if money is not an issue, F06 M6 all the way!
All in all, I feel my F06 handles very close to my M3, which is quite something.......
