As for the original query. Yes, I've been stalked in many different forms. There are two that stand out the most.
When I was in high school I had an admirer that would call the landline and play country music love songs on the answering machine. Eventually found out it was a buddies little sister that had a crush and she thought this was the way to get my attention. She was wrong, I was into death metal.
The second most memorable was just a few years ago. Loss prevention agent at a company I did business with got my home address and started leaving me notes on my front door. Notes turned into gifts. Gifts eventually turned into her showing up drunk and half naked in the wee hours of the morning. Of course I obliged her kind and generous offer.
All the others were social media type shit and scary.
