Mine is like that as well, can not be seen from inside, only notice it when cleaning the windshield from the outside.
Pissed me off as well, but it's probably been like that since I bought it and I just never noticed. Since you can't see it from the inside, and only notice it when cleaning the windshield, I haven't even thought about trying to fix it.
