Aside from cleaning with alcohol, the key is to heat & stretch shown in this video. Prevents the vinyl from lifting when pressed in the gap to cover all the chrome.
Decided to apply 2 coats of
CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 & 2 coats of
CarPro Gliss V2 on the windshield.
