Prime will give you a better image overall, 14mm is really wide tho and it's only a F4. But since you mentioned 18-55mm, I assume you have a cropped sensor? |

Yessir. Yeah my thinking is 14mm x 1.5 = 21mm would allow for more coverage with landscape. However, it is a full stop slower vs 2.8 on the 18-55mm. Would like to bring as little as possible but don't want to miss out on wide angle pictures. Can bring both if needed.
