I wasn't aware that petrol cars were going to be banned in the UK from 2030. If yes, then we are in for a total transport disaster! There is no way the authorities will have the necessary infrastructure in place for the charging of electric vehicles by that date, let alone the power stations to produce all the extra electricity. Every single street will need digging up to put in larger supply cables as existing house supplies will be inadequate. I think (hope!) you probably mean the
manufacture of petrol vehicles...
