M6 GC M-DCT Transmission service?
Hey everyone,
went to my local BMW dealership for a general service on my 2017 BMW m6 gc with M-DCT and they read a transmission service overdue on my key fob. Currently got 39,000 miles on the car and from what I read the transmission fluid is a lifetime fluid on a M-DCT and should never be touched. I also read that certain dealerships have been recommending transmission services but it is not required / recommended by BMW corp.
Anyways Got quoted 2.3k for the transmission service alone but got it down to 1.4k with a independent BMW service place which is still incredibly expensive.
Anyone ever come across this? Thanks in advance! Sorry if posted in wrong place, still new to this forum.
