Agree if you mean killer in terms of looks, otherwise Toyota did typical Toyota sloppy engineering:
- Used NiMH battery instead of Li-ion
- Positioned the battery beneath the rear seat reducing much-needed in a pickup storage area, F150 hybrid battery placed between the frame rails keeping passenger space and cargo area uncompromised while lowering center of gravity)
- Only offers 120V plugs... F150 offers 240v 30A connectors
- No on-board generator like 7.2 kW Pro Power Onboard for F150
- 21 MPG for hybrid is nothing to be proud of... Ford rated at 24 MPG
- All this while being more expensive than F150...
No excuses for a company that has been building hybrids pretty much longer than anybody else...
