I was a regular rider back before kids, and even after the first kid...
The first pic is my old bike from a long time ago, about 10,000ft elevation above Tahoe, I had no intention of going that far alone, but the ride was so good, then I noticed the lack of air...and how far away I was from everything, and that my phone didn't work up there and got nervous and carefully headed down the hill
Second pic is my E-Bike (not expecting any love here
) but it is so much fun, and it gets me back on the trail. I basically use the motor to keep my heartrate at a reasonable level. Where I live and ride EVERY trail is dead vertical at the beginning and then you get into some nice terrain.
