What did you try rubbing it with? Dr. Colorchip is just a kind of touch up paint you sort of rub in. It will look much better from 5 feet away, but not great, and the scratches will fill with wax and look white. I'd still find somebody who knows what they are doing to to wet sand it to remove all the scratches that are not that deep. If you end up with a third the number of scratches you have now, and much shallower, it will look even better if you put touch up paint on it.
