That oil was specific for the old M5/M6 E series with the naturally aspirated V10
Not sure why people love to screw their engine with this oil, it's not suggested in any single manual/workshop for the F series M5/M6
Some people have even reported engine problems after using 10W-60
I stick with what bmw suggest in their manual (0W-30, 5W-30, 0W-40 and 5W-40 depending on model year and region)
