I do use the HF jacks, and they have been very dependable, but I did not buy their stands, wheel chokes or ramps. When you have them in hand they don't look or feel very solid. I'm not very surprised here. They look like they could unfold like an origami.
I have (equally cheap) autozone stands that do look and feel infinitely more safe (higher metal gauge, continous soldering instead of arc points).
