On my 3rd 6 series coupe.. the reason how I justify paying £70k or £1000 a month for it every time I order a new one is because its gorgeous inside and out and is a proper GT car and I love it..
Now discontinued where do you turn?! Yes I would like a fat 5 series please.. of course not but wait.. Sir we have this lovely 8 series , if you loved the 6 you will want one.
Ok how much? Well.. it starts at £100k plus what!!! Options? Yes, that's another £20k.
So to get the levels of a 6 series coupe you have to buy an 8 and pay £30-40k more!
I'm angry because it will take me the remaining 2 years of my contract to decide what to buy next! I can't justify that money on an 8 I'd rather have the i8 but that has no room.
4 series coupe has a cheap interior that still winds me up when I sat in one for 5 minutes and I'm not spending £60k on a 5 series unless it's an M5.
My only option is a second hand 8 series that someone else specced that's dropped £50k in its first year as no ones buying them.
Then they'll discontinue the 8 and bring out a hatchback 8series GT..
