as far as performance: they are close but i will have to give it to the 3 series, better handling performance all the way around. but acceleration and braking of the 1 is right there with its older brother 
so its up to you on what you want, do you want to blend in with a [3] or stand out with a [1]

Even thought I like 135i but I can't buy it, only 128i is available for me lol..cause 300hp is too much for me, I don't want to crash it.
