What about serving them? In California, you can only have an attorney or a peace officer serve someone. It costs $50 or so to serve someone

Frankly I don't see why they're so resistant. $800 isn't an amount of E&O insurance claim for a company to drop your coverage. That's what I would do as a business owner knowing that I already lost the customer in my efforts to correct it myself, at least I can make sure I can make people whole and not have people pissed off at my negligence.

It's about accountability man. I'm going to make sure my employees are accountable and that I am accountable
