I believe the Oil consumption is the nature of this engine. I always had to add a quarter every 1000-1500 miles will all 3 F13 (650i/M6) cars I had with different engines such as N63, N63tu and S63tu. Sometimes it was 1500 ( in average ) and rarely up to 3000 based on the way I drove them
