It appears most of the hours spent on your issue is that the leaked coolant affected other parts of the block and will force them to examine and replace the timing chain area. That said if they need to pull a motor and possibility replace some electronics in the chain area, and then you mentioned that some "rear seal" is leaking (not sure what they're talking about whether it's oil or coolant, and what part of the block is leaking) then a full week sounds about right.

Just to replace my coolant hose, it was a 2 day job.
How did you catch the coolant issue? I got the message for low coolant but it's always full and the car is never hot. Always at 200*F or less
