Over the last week I changed the plugs (NGK Iridium 97506), changed the oil and filter, both air filters, the cabin filter, cleaned both MAF sensors and had my local BMW dealer top up both coolant reservoirs (they also gave me a half filled jug of BMW coolant to have if I ever need to top it up again).
The car is definitely running smoother, faster, breathing a whole lot better and even the sounds are more intense and inspiring.
I guess it is true. Proper maintenance is definitely important
