Technically I will argue that point is incorrect.

Maybe it is not exactly what you meant but reading your exact words you are implying that a multi piston calliper weighs more than a single piston calliper just because it has more pistons and also you have failed to explain the other benefits.

I can show you a set of multi piston callipers that are far lighter than some single piston callipers.

There are many many more variables that you have failed to even consider or explain in your post which could be viewed as misleading.

You are painting with very broad brush strokes to make such blanket claims.
