I don't believe it gets closer under compression as I had 2, maybe 3mm of space between the perch and the tire (with the car on a jack, zero compression on the spring) without running the spacer (et25). Never once rubbed even with a full car doing pulls. So maybe we can get away with et20 even if there is hardly any room. I found a set of PSS 335 near me for sale, waiting for a reply. Here's a photo of the space I had without the spacer, on jacks.
