Very interesting discussion. I have no horse in this race…but was curious about the suspension parts in the M5 & M6 variants. What part of the suspension would drop the vehicle lower?
Just a quick search for the front suspension parts:
- the competition f10 M5, f06 M6, f12 M6 and f13 M6 all share the same front (left/right) struts (#1 in diagram below with part nbrs that end in 115/116)
- the competition f06 M6, f12 M6, and f13 M6 all share the same coil springs (#6 in diagram below with part nbr that ends in 123)
- the competition f13 w/manual tranny & competition pkg uses part nbr that ens with 121
