I accessed it from the bottom to trouble shoot but to get it out, if need to remove the steering arm.

Yes, a mate of mine is an automotive aircon guy. We checked the gas, all good. Wasn't getting power to the compressor either, push 12v and the clutch wouldn't throw. He checked the resistance and said I'm in need of a compressor.
