Everybody should have USPS Informed Delivery because, as mentioned above, it gives you pics of the mail coming that day. Very worthwhile because the mail service screws up regularly and sometimes it is important mail and it's delivered to the wrong address and not everybody does the right thing when they get someone else's mail. Like walk it next door to give it to the addressee, or put it back in your mailbox and write "delivered to the wrong address" or something like that.
I have a mailbox on the street and they are constantly trying to shove packages in there that are too big to fit, and then they force them to fit and I can barely get it out, and all the other mail in my mailbox is squished and mangled. Why not just walk up to my door and drop it off? No, that's too much trouble.
