I drive a 2018 Silverado Z71 crew cab as my daily driver. It's averaging about 21MPG and I have gotten as high as 28MPG on long trips in the summer. Hauling a 7000# camping trailer, I get about 15MPG which is decent. I haven't spend a penny on maintenance yet. First 2 services were free and I got GM points to cover the other 2 services. Not a single thing need adjustment. No rattles, HID lights and LED fog lights are amazing. Automatic just about everything else. HD trailer package, integrated trailer brakes, tow-haul mode that does engine braking.
The 12 hours+ drive with the trailer down to the Outer Banks was fantastic too. You do have to watch out for some non trailer friendly service stations. My setup is over 50 feet long so the turning radius is a handful.

But again, I've always had good luck with Chevy product. Your results may vary.
