Which is why it is ironic that some Japanese trucks are built in America and some American trucks are built in a foreign country. Tacoma production is split between Texas and Mexico actually. The parent company may be Japanese, but the Tacoma and Tundra were designed for the North American market. I imagine the Mexican built Ram was also intended for the North American market, not just the US market.
