The original Competition Package for the M3 was on the e46. The first month of production for the US was December 2004 (MY2005). It included:
- Y-Spoke 19" wheels
- a lower suspension compared to the stock M3 by 0.6"
- Cross-drilled rotors
- a less intrusive DSC programming with activation button on the steering wheel
- more direct steering ratio (14.5:1 compared to 15.4:1) looks minor on paper but it really made a difference
- Exclusive aluminum trim
- Alcantara steering wheel
- Introduction of Interlagos Blue only available on ZCP
Not bad for $4k!
