We really don't under estimate Lewis , he is one of the best for sure.
Its more complicated due to the major advantage of the Merc car , without the Merc car he would be a single champion (his own words even) and whoever got his car would be the multiple champion, maybe even Bottas.
Having the dominant car is a bless but also a curse, he cant show his potential.
Russel showed this clearly (and the performance level of Bottas too).
Only challengers of Mercedes is Max and Vettel in an illegal Ferrari a few years ago. Even with the (not the best Renault engine) he was able to do this and outperform a very strong team mate (Ricciardo) in training and races.
For sure made the sport more attractive , that's a win for all of us.
Having a front row battle between Max and Lewis would be great , I even dont care about the end result.
