2 of those bearings look really bad. The others show wear you would normally seen in a higher mileage motor
I highly doubt it's a tuning issue. It's either:
1. Poor clearance design by BMW, similar to the tight clearances in the S85/65
2. Incorrect oil
3. Poor cold start driving habits
Or a combo of all 3
What oil were you using? And what is your typical cold start driving habit?
