We actually went to the same high school - 1 year apart - and never knew each other. She now lives 4 hours away from me. All these years later we meet through a mutual friend and hit it off. Probably a good thing, I was even more of an asshole in high school than I am now.
I knew her brother some who was older than me. Funny thing is, after we started dating, her brother found a birthday card I gave him in like the 5th grade.
I'm not sure if the coincidence of that bothers me the most or the fact a man still has a 5th grade birthday card in his possession........ =)
