Background
Over the weekend I finally pulled the trigger on my first BMW and a car I've dreamt of owning since I first drove one 4 years ago: a 2016 BMW M6 Gran Coupe
I purchased the car CPO from BMW Austin on Saturday May 9th. I took a one-way flight from Minneapolis down to Austin on Friday to pick the car up on Saturday morning and drive it 15 hours back to Minnesota -- something that I felt was fitting to do given that this car is built to excel when it comes to effortlessly eating up the miles.
It was (still is) a surreal experience to finally own this car. I'll use this thread to canvas out the different details about the car as well as my plans for it as time goes on.
